Restoration: Repair and Refresh
This 1910 photo was the only picture of her as a small child and the owner was so happy with the repair.

Restoration: Repair and Refresh
Many older portraits were printed on inexpensive paper which caused them to discolor badly over the years. Amazingly, they can be refreshed to near the original color.

Restoration: Repair and Refresh
Just a little editing to crop, refresh the color, and remove the crack in table brings this oldie back to life.

Restoration: Repair and Refresh
An old snapshot can benefit from a clean up of discoloration, removing background objects, or completely replacing the background with a portait look.

Edit: Correct and Improve
A great group shot -- except that the guy in the back is just a passer-by! Removing him, the post over the bald man's head, and the date stamp saved this "almost perfect" shot.
-
Edit: Correct and Improve
Sometimes the smallest editing makes a big difference. Simply cropping this photo and removing the item over his head was a big improvement.

Group shots can be difficult. Someone squints, moves, or isn't at their best, and the result needs a little editing! This one was edited to replace the squirming toddler with cut of her from another picture. A rumpled jacket was smoothed and a shirt color changed to contrast with the baby.

>Even expensive studio portraits can be improved. Fly-away strands of hair, baby scratches, complexion problems and more can be touched up. A new backdrop and small costume edit took these portraits from "Cute" to "Aww!

Edit: Correct and Improve
The photographer for this wedding missed getting one group shots. By combining and editing two photos, the missing group was assembled.

Edit: Correct and Improve
This group was too spread out but with a little Photo Fix Magic and a new backdrop, the photo goes from a nice snapshot to a portrait for display.

Edit: Correct and Improve
This snapshot suffered from the most common problem seen in casual shots -- background clutter. One of the kid's arms needed editing to bring it down, and then the entire background was replaced with a portrait backdrop.

Enhance
Replacing the background is great way to create wonderful shots. Although it can be done with many photos, I like to take photos against a solid color such as a wall or sheet. Color is less important than having the subject 3 feet away to reduce shadows arou and the subject.

Changing the backdrop can change the entire mood from traditional to fun to funky. Kids love choosing their backdrops!

Typical baby photos can be made truly special with a little imagination and Photo Fix Magic.

Halloween pictures are a great opportunity to take a snapshot from "kid in a costume" to a place in the imagination.

Changing the backdrop and adding text creates an image that is perfect for a greeting card.

Picture frames with several spaces for photos are a good way to display favorites -- but selecting photos that fit the openings and getting them to stay in place is frustrating! Chose the photos you want and I can arrange them with no restrictions on size and shape restrictions.

Collages are wonderful for compactly displaying a group of photos that otherwise would be hidden in an album or shoe box!
